The presented project addressed the need to increase the workspace area of ​​the National Association of Municipalities of Portugal. This expansion was carried out in a stand-alone building, within the plot where the Association’s headquarters are located and adjacent to the existing building. The placement of this new building resulted from the program to be developed and the need to preserve the existing tree in the center of the garden.

It is a single-story building, with an “L”-shaped layout, forming a quadrangular courtyard. The workspaces, offices, and meeting rooms are arranged along the facades facing the courtyard. The connection to the existing building is made through a covered and glazed gallery.
