The requalification and upgrading of the Largo do Rio Seco area, in the parish of Ajuda, as part of the municipal program “A Square in Every Neighborhood,” aims to enhance its image and urban identity, without neglecting the needs identified in terms of road traffic circulation and parking availability for residents and visitors.

The works to be carried out include renovating the underground infrastructure, with the complete replacement of electricity, telecommunications, gas, water, and sewage networks; reinforcing tree planting and creating public spaces; improving crossing conditions with an increase in pedestrian lanes; modernizing public lighting, as well as all paving materials and street furniture.

The organization and increase in vehicle parking availability and the creation of specific areas for motorcycles and bicycles are also planned in this project.
