The building that was proposed for renovation has been part of a consolidated area since 1937. It was initially designed as a rural family home with a vernacular design, which was developed on the first floor of the house. The ground floor housed animal stables and storage for agricultural tools. Since the mid-1970s, the building has lost its residential function and has fallen into complete disrepair. The owner wanted to develop a single-family home for seasonal use, maintaining the original volume of the buildings as well as their structural composition. The introduction of the new functional programme in the areas previously used for shops or corrals now allows it to accommodate a larger family, albeit for shorter periods.
