The EB1-159 Arco-Íris School, which is part of the Fernando Pessoa School Group in Lisbon, was built in 1970 and includes a nursery school and a primary school.

The project, designed by architect Francisco Fernandes Figueira, had as its main objective the organisation of the new facilities, in addition to the ‘natural’ systematisation and implementation of the Functional Programme, with the intention of making the use and utilisation of the new facilities as comfortable, safe and flexible as possible.
