The object of this project is the rehabilitation of the Arco do Cego train station and its conversion into the TÉCNICO LEARNING CENTER.

This intervention aims to rehabilitate what remains of the old bus station, the last function of the space, creating a new and innovative space with great functional adaptability, capable of becoming a reference point at the University of Lisbon and a symbolic landmark in the city.

The total intervention area is 6,290 m², corresponding to 3,390 m² of the building, plus an external area of ​​2,900 m², which does not violate the maximum construction area for the area in which the building is located as stipulated in current legislation. The intervention will allow the building, once rehabilitated and without increasing its volume, to have two floors, using solutions that optimize its internal space.

The future TÉCNICO LEARNING CENTER will be a learning and socialization center housed in a building with heritage value, contributing to the strengthening of the network of educational and cultural facilities in the city of Lisbon.
