This is a two-storey building where a Residential Structure for the Elderly with a Home Support Service and Day Centre is to be developed.

The project idea envisages the construction of a building that develops orthogonally to the dominant building. It is positioned in such a way as to allow the corner between the Gorgolão Urbanisation and the roundabout with which it adjoins to be completed. The building is on two floors, with the ground floor housing the social areas (reception, administration, lounge area, activity spaces, canteen and respective service areas) relating more directly to the terrain. Floor 1 tries to take advantage of some of the surrounding visual relief, and for this reason the bedrooms, living areas and some associated support services are located there.

The aim is for the building to enhance the relationship between residents who use the day centre and occasional visitors, as well as bringing its interior closer to the outside, thus also enhancing outdoor living.
