As well as reorganising the interior spaces, the project aims to purge the dissonant elements that have been built over time in strict proportion to the needs of the moment, reducing the gross construction area and the impermeable area. At the moment, the site is 100 per cent waterproofed and the strategy for reducing this effect is related to the following improvement actions: demolition of the built-up area attached to the main buildings to reduce the gross construction area; use of grass grids in the parking areas and the creation of a flower area to increase the waterproof area of the site. The project also aims to clean up the building by removing some elements associated with the façades and the possibility of removing the shed/roof on the right-hand side, which covers the car park and storage area, as it is a removable structure. This is a two-storey building in which the ground floor remains a warehouse/services centre and the first floor changes its function from housing to services. The conventional gable roof is maintained, with a balcony to the west and another to the east, which is no longer covered.
